Hi!
My passion for tailoring took root early in my life, following in the footsteps of my grandfather, a master tailor in a Milanese boutique. While attending a linguistic high school, I began developing my craft through evening courses in cutting and sewing. I later earned my degree in Fashion Design from NABA in Milan, where I met costume designer Gianluca Sbicca.
Since 2017, I have worked as his assistant, collaborating on major opera and prose productions. Our shared portfolio includes works such as Nabucco (Regio di Parma, dir. Ricci/Forte), Le Nozze di Figaro (Teatro del Maggio, dir. Sonia Bergamasco), M. Il figlio del Secolo (Piccolo Teatro, dir. Massimo Popolizio), and Macbeth (Comunale di Bologna, dir. Jacopo Gassman).
In 2020, my career took an international turn in Dubai, where I served as a Costume Designer for NuArt Events, contributing to the exclusive shows performed at the Play Restaurant.
From 2021, I began assisting Silvia Aymonino on prestigious operatic productions, including Il Barbiere di Siviglia(Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, dir. Lorenzo Mariani), Otello (Teatro Petruzzelli di Bari, dir. Francesco Micheli), and Falstaff(Opéra Royal de Wallonie, dir. Jacopo Spirei).
In 2022, I expanded my expertise into the world of cinema, working as a Costume Buyer for the film The Equalizer 3(dir. Antoine Fuqua, costumes by Gianni Casalnuovo, Columbia Pictures). That same year, I launched my freelance career, designing and producing costumes for a variety of experimental and classical stage productions, including:
Pagliacci all’uscita (Teatro Vascello, dir. Roberto Latini)
Witch-is (Teatro delle Donne, dir. Virginia Landi)
Faust (Teatro Vascello, dir. Leonardo Manzan)
Tristano e Isotta (Emilia Romagna Teatro, dir. Virginia Landi)
